GIOTTO
FAQs
GIOTTO is a daily game that challenges you to get as close to perfect as you can at something completely different every day.
Every day, you get one challenge and up to three attempts to reach 100%. Happy with your score? Lock it in and move on.
That's the one that counts. No going back.
Anything that tests your ability to judge, remember, time, position, draw or otherwise perform with precision. The rules of engagement change every day.
Not really. GIOTTO doesn't test what you know. It tests what you can do.
No. That's rather the point. GIOTTO should make sense whether you're eight or eighty.
How close you came to perfect. 100% is perfection. Everything else is unfinished business.
Once you've completed and locked in today's challenge, that's it. Come back tomorrow.
Every day at midnight your time, wherever in the world you are.
Absolutely not. Where's the fun in that?
Yes. Everyone gets the same daily challenge, so scores actually mean something when you compare them.
No, and that's fundamental to GIOTTO. Today might test your hand. Tomorrow your eye. The next day your memory or sense of time. The challenge changes. The pursuit of 100% doesn't.
GIOTTO is named after the Italian Renaissance artist Giotto di Bondone. According to legend, he demonstrated his extraordinary skill by drawing a flawless circle freehand in a single fluid motion.
Because GIOTTO is about precision, judgement and balance — and because perfection is considerably more interesting when humans attempt it.
Does it?
Of course.
That is the question, isn’t it?
You get to be unbearably pleased with yourself. At least until midnight, when the challenge resets and it all begins again. An exact 100% also makes a registered player eligible for The 100% Club. Find out more about that here.
Because perfection without pressure would be too easy.
If you're signed in, GIOTTO can keep track of your results, streaks, average score and personal best.
No. You can play without one. An account is for people who want GIOTTO to remember how good - or painfully close - they've been.
You'll know one when you get one.
Something completely different.
